La Casita is in the picturesque village of La Heredia just north of San Pedro and on the right of the Ronda Road just after  Los Arquerost KM 43.

La Casita is owned by Lawrence Otterburn together with Sasha his wife.

I was speaking to Lawrence recently and he is a very interesting chef and comes from a distinct culinary background.

He was trained by Gordon Ramsey as have a few chefs on this coast another that srings to mind is David Jones of La Cocina in Benahavis another excellent restauarnt.

In La Casita you can sample Lawrence's  excellent food, coupled with outstanding service from his staff.

If you like to enjoy your food in a pleasant and informal atmosphere, where the main focus is on what you are eating then this is a restaurant that you must visit.

As with any good place it pays to book in advance as it is usually full most evenings.

La Casita has a very good lunch menu at 14 euros including a drink.

There is a different Sunday lunch that includes a Sunday Roast.
